President’s Report
General Membership Meeting
December 15, 2025
Ontario Regional Council
Ontario Regional Council took place in Toronto from December 5th to the 7th. This year, Local 302 had two sisters come forward and run for elected positions on the Ontario Regional Council board. I am proud to announce both were successful in being elected for the positions they were running for. Amy Cake is now one of the Members at Large and Michelle Flewin is the Health Safety and Environment Standing Committee Representative. Congratulations to them both.
Upcoming Lobbies
The Canadian Health Coalition Parliament Hill Lobby is scheduled for February 9th to 11th in Ottawa and the representative for Local 302 will be Michelle Stewardson. There was also a Unifor Lobby scheduled for Queen’s Park from February 23rd to 26th which has since been cancelled to Parliament being out until March 23rd instead of February 17th. This will be rescheduled soon.

In the October and November President’s report I added a line that if you were reading this report call the office and have your name entered to win a gift card. The winner of the $250.00 gift card is Lyndsay Desrochers of Landmark Village.
