General Membership Meeting  

 

  

Bob White Golf Tournament  

On January 27th,2025, the membership passed a donation of $5000 to the Bob White Golf Tournament. Our donation comes with 8 spots to golf in the tournament. The tournament is at Craigowan Golf Club in Woodstock on August 18th, 2025. If you are interested in being a golfer in the tournament, please email the local admin@uniforlocal302.ca or call Maeda at 519-951-0302 by June 20th at 4:00pm.  

 

We have tickets available for $30, a book which is 10 tickets or $5 a ticket. There are some great prizes to be won. All proceeds from this golf tournament go to Anova London, 
Domestic Abuse Services Oxford & Ingamo Homes Oxford. 

This is a no lost time event. 

 

Indigenous History Month 

 

June is indigenous History Month. Unifor is proud to celebrate First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples’ diverse and enduring culture, history and achievements. Members are encouraged to take action June 21 by calling on the federal government to implement the recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. 

Gina Smoke, Unifor Indigenous Liaison will moderate this June webinar series with Indigenous leaders and scholars. Join the discussion and learn how you can engage in Reconciliation!

Canada’s Wonderland  

Unifor Member Appreciation Day is on Sunday July 13, 2025, from 9am to 10pm at Canada’s Wonderland. Tickets are $51.64 per person and include parking, admission and lunch. Meal only tickets are $17.69 for those that have a pass. Get your tickets at: canadaswonderland.com/unifor2025day

 

Health Care Tour 

On June 24th from 12pm to 5pm, Kellee Janzen, Health Care Director and Kelly-Anne Orr, National Assistant to the President responsible for Health Care, will be at Unifor Local 302 as part of the Health Care Tour. Members are invited to drop by to ask them any questions and share ideas. If you plan on coming, please RSVP to Maeda at admin@uniforlocal302.ca by June 20th at 4pm. There will be light refreshments and snacks provided.  

Scholarship Applications 

This is a reminder that scholarship applications are due in the Local by June 27th, 2025.  
You can get an application by calling the local at 519-951-0302.
